¿Qué es una baja presión y una alta presión?

1. Baja Presión / Low Pressure: Es un sistema de isobaras cerradas concéntricas en el cuál la presión mínima se localiza en el centro. La circulación es en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj. Este fenómeno provoca convergencia y convección por lo que se asocia a la presencia de gran nubosidad y chubascos. Se representa en un mapa meteorológico por una "L" o una "B" color rojo. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

2. Alta Presión / High Pressure: Región de la atmósfera donde la presión es mucho más alta que en las áreas circundantes; produce buen tiempo, cielos despejados y ocasionalmente niebla o bruma. Se representa en un mapa meteorológico por una "H" o una "A" color azul.

Low Pressure:

It is a system of concentric closed isobars in which the minimum pressure is located in the center. The circulation is counterclockwise. This phenomenon causes convergence and convection, which is why it is associated with the presence of great cloudiness and showers. It is represented on a weather map by an "L" or a red "B".

  High Pressure:

Region of the atmosphere where the pressure is much higher than in the surrounding areas; it produces good weather, clear skies and occasionally fog or mist. It is represented on a weather map by an "H" or a blue "A".
